PROJECT RESIST

THE NEED

Ashley Sanders-Jackson, Michigan State University, and Andy Tan, Harvard University, received a four-year National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant through the National Cancer Institute for Project RESIST whose aim is to increase resistance to tobacco marketing among young adult sexual minority women using inoculation message approaches.

THE WORK

A two-day photoshoot in Detroit art directing participants led into a series of photographs.
